I chose to represent who I am with a mosaic of desserts as I feel like desserts can represent a person’s life experiences.

Desserts. Loved, hated, but unique in their own way. I chose to represent who I am with a mosaic of desserts as I feel like desserts can represent a person’s life experiences. Like living, making desserts is a process of learning. You take from your failures and move on to create something better. I used the deserts to represent how my past has shaped who I have become in the present. This mosaic is intentionally incomplete as it reveals that I still have a lot to experience in my life and that who I am in the present will not be who I am in the future. My present self will be a part of my future but will not define the person I become.
