I feel that it shows a lot of my improvement and how much I've grown as an artist.

This picture was taken sometime after my first ever really short haircut. I chose it because it was the first picture I took of myself with that hair and because of the cute stuffed sloth toy that I randomly found in a store. I'm also really glad I chose this picture for my self-portrait specifically because of the details like the sloth and the wording on the shirt. Yes, it did take a lot of time and did make my hand cramp up afterwards with all the black I had to fill in but I think it was worth it. I like this picture mostly because it is a lot more detailed and better proportioned than my first self-portrait ever was. I feel that it shows a lot of my improvement and how much I've grown as an artist.
