The inclusion of flowers is recognition of my upbringing as well as reflecting my ongrowing and flourishing character.

'Flor’ means flower in Spanish and happens to be my middle name. Flowers have been a part of my identity and during my childhood, I was referred to as ‘the white flower in the garden’ by my mother. The inclusion of flowers is recognition of my upbringing as well as reflecting my ongrowing and flourishing character. The complementary colors were mainly used to bring forth the appeal of yellow which best represents my personality and aura. The use of dots conveys my sense of patience but also my displeasure when drawing my own face. Although I do not have the same fondness dripped in my execution, the colors seem to resonate more to my being than the stipple forming my profile.
